Permanent links. Mutable destinations.
URLs are surprisingly temporary things. Domains change, websites get reorganized, projects get renamed, and /final-v2-really-final/ eventually stops being final.
A rslvr.link address stays put while the destination behind it is free to move. Change the destination, keep the link.
It's useful for QR codes, printed material, documentation, bookmarks, and anything else where finding and replacing every old URL would be a particularly boring way to spend an afternoon.
RSLVR is not a public URL shortener. There is no public signup, no pricing tiers, and no suspiciously enthusiastic Get Started button.
It's just a small piece of private infrastructure doing one job: remembering where things went.
